Betty and Albert are the best hosts I don't think you could find anyone more accommodating. Albert cooks the most amazing breakfast and the bed was very comfortable. Had a great time here and will go back again and again.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Inn if the Rockies. We were guests during Splitfest in April of 2017 and forgot to write a review. A place like this cannot be kept to ourselves, we talk about it all the time. The innkeepers were so kind and helpful. Al shared a book of cowboy poetry with me the he wrote himself. I was blown away by the book and shared with the library staff I work with. Breakfast was amazing. I just cannot praise it enough.
To be short, this Inn is worth 8 stars. The hosts (Betty and Albert) are so far beyond accommodating there hasnt been a word invented for it yet. They love their jobs and where they are in life and it flows into your existence while you stay there. A truly phenomenal experience including a historic Inn, cowboy poetry, the best breakfast weve ever had at a B&B, a super clean hot tube and again, the greatest hosts this side of the Mississippi. Thank you Albert and Betty, you truly are the best!
Our stay at the Alma House was above and beyond. Innkeepers Betty and Albert are such kind souls and were so accommodating during our stay. We planned the trip around our train ride in Silverton so when the train was cancelled last minute, they helped us locate a number of activities nearby to fill the time. Breakfast was one of the best meals Ive ever had and Albert makes these tasty little muffins that are fresh and ready with hot coffee right when you wake up. They will make you breakfast anytime you choose. I could not say enough nice things, we will most definitely be staying here again next time we are in town.
I cannot imagine a better place to stay! The absolute kindest couple you could meet are the hosts. Breakfast was amazing and they were very accommodating to my pain-in-the-butt dietary restrictions! We got such good stories from Betty and Albert is a wonderful poet. We will definitely be back. Best hosts we have ever had.
